What is LISTSERV©?

LISTSERV© was the first electronic mailing list application software developed in 1984. Today, the term "listserv" is often used as a generic term to describe any email distribution list.

Why We Use LISTSERV©

An electronic mailing list application has many automated features which makes it easy to for list owners to manage subscriptions and subscription lists. For the individual subscriber, the software also provides a way to unsubscribe, change an email address, or change subscription settings.

Electronic lists are an ideal means for interactive discussions, expertise sharing, and remote collaboration.
