About TIM International, Inc.
TIM International, Inc. (TIMI), the Alumni Association for the
graduates of the School of Travel Industry Management at the University of
Hawaii at Manoa, was formed in 1968 under the guidance of Chuck Gee, Dean
Emeritus. In March 1973, TIM International, Inc. received its charter of
incorporation from the State of Hawaii and became recognized as a non-profit
corporation. The association has grown, along with the School of Travel Industry
Management, with alumni located in many parts of the world. TIMI now has
chapters in Hawaii, Hong Kong, and Singapore, as well as active groups in many
other countries.
Mission Statement:
"The purpose of TIM International, Inc., is to actively support
the mission of the School of Travel Industry Management through membership
participation, image enhancement, financial commitment, and promotion of
synergies among student, faculty, alumni, and friends."
