Cathryn Iwashita, BA
Cathy Iwashita is the Director of Student Services at the University of Hawaii at Manoa’s School of Travel Industry Management. She provides undergraduate academic advising for current and prospective TIM students, coordinates TIM School high school recruitment activities, and helps oversee the student clubs and student scholarships.
Cathy earned her B.A. in Social Sciences with a minor in Education at the University of California, Irvine. She continued her education at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, earning a Master’s degree in Educational Administration with an emphasis in Higher Education. She is active in the professional academic advising association, NACADA (National Academic Advising Association).
Cathy has presented and served on the conference committee for a regional NACADA conference, and has also attended several national NACADA conferences.
