Michelle Clark, MBA

Michelle Clark started as a lecturer at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa School of Travel Industry Management in the Spring 2013 semester, teaching Destination Development and Marketing.She is currently the Business Development and Resources Manager at the University of Hawaiʻi Pacific Business Center Program, a program which utilizes the resources of the University of Hawaiʻi to provide business and economic development technical assistance to clients in Hawaiʻi and the American Affiliated Pacific Islands of American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, Guam, the Marshall Islands, and Palau.


During Michelle's approximately fifteen years at the Pacific Business Center Program, she has worked together with the faculty and staff of UH's School of Travel Industry Management on numerous tourism development plans, including an ecotourism plan for American Samoa, a tourism development plan for Bikini Atoll, and the feasibility of a botanical garden in Palau.Prior to working at the Pacific Business Center Program, Michelle worked in the travel industry for companies such as JTB Hawaiʻi, Inc., Japan Travel Bureau (Canada) Ltd., and the Hilton Hawaiʻian Village. She has also taught English in Fukuoka, Japan as part of Japanese government’s Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme.


Michelle is a graduate of ʻIolani School and the University of Hawaiʻi where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Travel Industry Management (1994) and her Master of Business Administration (2000).
